37 שנה עברו מאז הלילה המר ההוא בלבנון. הלילה שבו איבד לוחם סיירת גולני, עדי דויטש, את רגלו וניצל בזכות התושייה של רופא החטיבה, פרופ' משה סלעי. מאז, השניים לא נפגשו. כתבה בפרויקט ב-ynet ובמוסף "24 שעות", שבה תועד כיצד הפך דויטש לטריאתלט מצטיין למרות הפציעה - איחדה אותם שוב.
כמעט 40 שנה ורגל אחת מפרידות בין עמרי בהט הצעיר לעדי דויטש, המודל לחיקוי. אבל כשהם רצים, רוכבים ושוחים, הפער נמחק. "יום אחד", מקווה בהט, התקווה הגדולה של ישראל בטריאתלון, "אני מקווה להיות כמו עדי: בן אדם וספורטאי.
